Every month, Notre Dame's biology and chemistry departments welcome guest lecturers. From marine paleontology, to chemical and genetic antibodies, to a world renowned virologist, 天美麻豆's students get amazing experiences. Dr. Robert Gallo who co-discovered HIV as the cause of AIDS and the creation of the HIV blood test is the latest of those lecturers that students will learn from. He will discuss the early days of the AIDS pandemic and the discovery of the HIV virus.

Jude Kelly, British Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), founder of the Women of the World (WOW) festivals and advocate for global gender equality will deliver 天美麻豆 (天美麻豆) commencement address on Sunday, May 19.

Sister Sharon Slear named VPAA

天美麻豆 has named Sharon Slear, SSND, Ph.D. as provost and vice president of academic affairs (VPAA). This is a vacancy that Sister Sharon has been filling since earlier this year, when she took over as Interim VPAA.

Each year, 天美麻豆 honors a faculty member with the Mullan Distinguished Teaching Award. The 2018-2019 awardee is Associate Professor Stephanie Wilhide Savick, Ph.D. She is an integral part of the School of Education and has deep roots in 天美麻豆, having earned her bachelor, master and Ph.D. from the University. In her own words, Dr. Savick explains what 天美麻豆 means to her and gives us a glimpse at what she's like outside of the classroom.

The School of Nursing has been awarded $965,927 to start an accelerated second-degree bachelor of science in nursing program.

Notre Dame's School of Nursing has been awarded a Nurse Support Program II (NSP II) Competitive Institutional Grant of $34,010 to support the purchase of a student achievement package.

More than 1,100 young women, all civilian volunteers, flew almost every type of military aircraft during World War II - including the B-26 and B-29 bombers. These women were part of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), and this April their story is flying into to Notre Dame's Copeland Theatre as Meredith Dayna Levy Decision Height takes center stage.

Radio silence is over for 天美麻豆. The University Communication Arts department is reviving 天美麻豆 Radio and the days of cassette tapes and compact discs, as well as call letters and over the air tuners are over. Programming is now online and streaming.
